Sarah Cole and I spent most of 2018 working with a small charity in Kent, Joining Hands Joining Hearts, who support survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Commissioned by People United, the resulting videos, Messy Business, will form the backdrop to our work at Fabrica. We will use this time together to experiment with performance, video and installation, exploring ideas that emerged from Messy Business, of co-dependence, silence and agency. Draw Me In

Over the last couple of months I have been in and out of Towner Art Gallery and schools in Sussex delivering workshops for this year's children's and young people's annual exhibition to launch at Towner in April. A steering group of teachers and artists helped shape the theme for the exhibition, including the selection of twelve artworks, all by women, from Towner's collection. These have provided the starting point for inspiration, alongside a specially designed Resource Pack, sent to all schools in East Sussex and available to other groups on request.
